Daniela walked through the hallways of the hospital, a smile plastered on her face. Her cropped hair was pinned out of her face with bobby pins and she wore a doctors outfit with lady's tennis shoes. Coming to a room labeled 'Records,' she stopped and glanced around to make sure that no one was paying attention to her.
Reaching into her hair, she withdrew two bobby pins from her hair. She deftly picked the lock and the door opened with a soft click. Stepping into the room, she closed the door behind her, replacing the bobby pins.
Once inside, she scanned the filing cabinets. She didn't have time to take every record, she could only take the ones she was assigned to take. She retrieved them in a matter of minutes, five files of high ranking Ally officers.
She was about to leave with the files when she noticed a filing cabinet labeled Borman - Burke. Curiosity overtook her as she took out Charles's file and began to read.

Click-clack. Click-clack. Evelyn's heels tapped lightly against the floor as she walked down the hospital hallway. She had been working at the nurses station the last hour, handling administrative and secretarial duties. Thankfully, there had been hardly any new patients today, but a few minutes ago a man had come in with a shoulder-wound, so she had been sent to get his records while the attending doctor and another nurse examined him.
Finding the correct key on the ring she had taken from the nurses station, she stuck it in the lock and turned. Hm... That's strange, she thought. The door was already unlocked. Evelyn hadn't thought that anybody else was supposed to be in the room right now, but maybe an unexpected complication had come up with one of the patients. Yet the woman's face didn't look familiar at all. Perhaps she was a new transfer.
"Excuse me?" she ventured, turning to face her companion. "Are you new here, or have I somehow just managed to avoid meeting you all these months I've been here?"

"Oh, I'm here on special assignment from England." She replied in a British accent that masked her Italian very well. "I'm checking the facility for thoroughness." she offered a smile, putting Charles's file back in the drawer. "So far, I'm impressed."

Hm...Thoroughness check. Evelyn hadn't heard anything about it, but she'd check with one of the doctors or other nurses later. Perhaps it was some sort of surprise inspection. There had been rumors about one. As soon as she was done in the record room, Evelyn would go back and make sure everything was in order. It would be awful if they failed the inspection somehow.
"Thank you. I'm glad your impressed. Is there anything in particular I can get for you?"

Daniela smiled, she could get a lot from this woman this way. She knew she would have to ask some quetions she didn't need to know, but that was all right. "How much Penicillin does this facility have stocked?" she asked, Penicillin was probably the only drug anyone would know how much they had of it, because it was used every day.

Penicillin... How much penicillin? Evelyn's mind raced. She had checked it just the other day. Wait! She remembered. "Enough for three more weeks. We should be getting another shipment in after that." Well, if everything went as planned, they'd be getting another shipment in. It was hard to tell these days whether any supplies would be get through the fighting. Even though it was a Red Cross hospital, the Axis powers still recognized that it served mostly Allies, and thus they tried to stop whatever shipments they could.
"I'm sure one of the doctors would be able to answer your questions a lot better though. The hospital isn't too busy right now, so one of them should be available. Excuse me a minute while I go find somebody." Evelyn started walking towards the door.
((I have no idea what amount of penicillin would be reasonable for a hospital to have, so I just left it in time instead of milligrams or grams or whatever))

"Wait." Daniela said, "Part of my assignment is to see if the nursing staff should be cut back, so I want to talk to you as well." she said with a friendly smile. She held the files to her chest and crossed her arms.

See if the nursing staff should be cut back? That didn't sound very good. What if she was part of the staff that was cut back? No matter how hard it was, Evelyn loved her job. She wanted to help people, to offset as much of the death and destruction of war as she could. People's lives were at stake! How could she just go back to ordinary work? Nevertheless, she tried to remain calm, responding with, "Okay. Do you have any particular questions?" and a polite smile.

"On an average day, how many patients do you treat?" she asked, "I mean you personally." she went on, "And is this number more, less, or about the same as the number the other nurses treat?"
